As president in Rotary Year 2016/2017, my priority was to create opportunities to serve the community.
During my presidential year, the Rotary Club of Singapore North successfully raised and contributed over $50,000 to support underserved communities, with a focus on inmates, the elderly, the disabled, and the visually impaired. These initiatives, driven by our collective efforts, directly impacted the lives of more than 3,000 beneficiaries. It was an incredibly fulfilling journey, and seeing the positive change we were able to bring to these communities remains a highlight of my leadership.

Rotary Year 1997/1998 brings fresh challenges and opportunities to serve, strengthen friendships, and build new connections. It’s a great honor, though daunting, to follow in the footsteps of Rotary Giants who led before me. Together with my fellow Rotarians, we will uphold Rotary’s ideals.
During my leadership year, we raised over $25,000 to support the Visually Handicapped, Disabled People’s Association, Family Services Centre, Nursing Homes, and Dialysis Centres. We also launched the Young Executive of the Year Award with sponsorship from M/s Siemens, expanding our community impact. It was a truly fruitful year, as we strengthened our community partnerships and expanded our impact across multiple areas of need.
